j The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company Limited report at their usual tri-weekly Cambridge stock sale on Monday a large entry of all classes of cattle, with competition for beef very keen, a total clearance resulting at satisfactory prices. Store and boner cattle showed no alteration on late rates. A small entry of yearling heifers sold at values on a par with late ’ quotations. Realisations were:— Sheep:—Fat woolly hoggets, 26s ' 9d light fat woolly wethers, to 25s 1 I 6d. Cattle:—Prime fat Polled Angus ‘ j steers, to £l4 10s; lighter prime PolJ led Angus steers, to £l2 12s 6d; light ‘ crossbred Jersey steers, to £9 12s ad; | heavy prime Jersey heifers £9 10s to ' £6 19s; heavy Friesian cows, £7 to ’ £7 15s, fat Jersey cows, £5 to £5 15s; 5 ; killable cows £4 10s to £5; heavy * boner cows, £3 5s to £3 15s; medium ! j £2 5s to £2 15s; canner cows 20s to 5 I 355; well-grown yearling Jersey i heifers, £4 4s to £4 8s; lighter con- ! ditioned, £3 5s to £3 15s; 2 year ser--1 : vice bulls, £6 to £7; good conditioned > yearling Jersey bulls, £4 10s to £5 ’ , ss; pottor bulls, £5 to £6 10s. J i Pigs:—A large entry of all classes ■ was penned, the yarding selling 1 under brisk competition at late * quotations.
