RUMANIAN PREMIER
A NEW APPOINTMENT LEADER OF AGRARIAN PARTY (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) BUCHAREST, Sept. 28 The Leader of the Agrarian Union Party, M. Constantine Argetoianu, has been appointed Prime Minister, in succession to General George Argesanu, who assumed office after the assassination of the Prime Minister, M. Armand Calinescu. M. Argetoianu has occupied various Ministerial posts in Rumanian Cabinets since 1918. The new Rumanian Premier is well-known in London. He has been chairman of the Steaua Romana, the largest oil concern in Rumania, in which British capital is invested, and also chairman of the British Motor Company in Rumania. Friendship for Britain His efforts to strengthen AngloRumanian relations over a number of years have been grertly valued.
