DENIAL BY THE ADMIRALTY AIRCRAFT-CARRIER SAFE (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Sept. 30, 3.15 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 29 A German report that the air-craft-carrier Glorious was sunk by an aerial bomb brought a prompt reply from the Admiralty, again affirming: “No British warship has been sunk or hit in any aerial attack.” The German claim was an alleged correction to their previous statement that the Ark Royal was hit.
