Tennis enthusiasts made the most i of the fine weather to make an early I start, and they, too found the courts ! in excellent order. Among the clubs ! which held official openings this j afternoon were Nawton, Whitiora j Old Pupils, St. Peter’s and St. Mary’s. Ordinary draw games were played at the Whitiora and Hamilton bowling greens. The Hamilton club also sent a team to Glen Massey and one to Whitiora.
