OBITUARY

REV. JOHN PATERSON, M.A. 9 (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WANGANUI, Friday The death has occurred of the Rev. John Paterson, M.A., minister of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Stratford, and formerly of St. Paul’s Church, Wanganui. He had not enjoyed good health for some years and came to Wanganui in 1924 for treatment. He was born in Kempsey, New South Wales, and was educated in Sydney. His first charge was Broken Hill and later he came to New Zealand, being called to St. Paul’s Church, Christchurch. He was a Past Master of the Masonic Fraternity.
