SUCCESSFUL DANCE
MATAMATA LABOUR PARTY The social committee of the Matamata branch of the Labour Party organised a very successful dance, which was held in the Matamata Town Hall. There was an exceptionally good attendance, the main attraction of the evening being the final of the waltzing competition, which had attracted many entrants The winners proved to be Mr McKay and Mrs Peddie, the runners-up being Mr and Miss Henderson. A novelty dance was won by Miss M. Peddie and partner. Mr Burke and Mr Managh were the judges. Mr W. Eyres was a capable master of ceremonies.
