ARMY APPOINTMENTS
QUARTERMASTER-GENERAL (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday It is announced that Colonel R. Miles, Regiment of Royal New Zealand Artillery, relinquishes the appointment of General Staff Officer (staff duties) and is appointed Quarter-master-General. Colonel O. H. Mead, New Zealand Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Adjutant and Quarter-master-General and is appointed Ad-jutant-General. Both these officers retain their appointments on the Army Board. These appointments are notified in to-night’s Gazette.
