STRENGTH IN AIR

CONTINUOUS SUPPLY ASSURED HELP FROM THE DOMINIONS CAN WIN ANY WAR (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Sept. 29, 11.0 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 28 The commandant of one of the new training wings of the Royal Air Force, designed to give a continuous supply of pilots and other personnel, commenting on the present recruits, said nothing could equal them and many thousands more are already on the waiting list. The resources of Canada, Australia and New Zealand have not yet been touched. “When one remembers the Dominion resources,” he said, “the supply can be kept up to the end of any war Germany can fight. We have the material to make the finest pilots in the world—and by reason of this good material Britain is going to win the war hands down.” Many New Zealand Pilots The Ministry of Information has issued a statement that apart from New Zealand’s effort to supply the Royal Air Force with trained pilots and other personnel, nearly 400 New Zealanders are already in England training to be pilots in the Royal Air Force.
