COMMANDER’S SACRIFICE GAVE JACKET TO SAILOR (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Sept. 28, 3.15 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 27 A naval official participating in salvaging the illfated submarine, expressed the opinion that Commander Bolus obviously was directing the escape operations when he died. His body was found with the shirtsleeves rolled up. He had given his jacket to a sailor who was wearing it when his body was recovered.
