ALARMING RUMOURS
GREAT ANXIETY IN ESTONIA (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Sept 27 General anxiety is mounting in Estonia regarding relations with Russia, as the result of alarming rumours of an impending Russian “ diplomatic offensive ’’ in the Baltic region, says a message from Tallinn. General Johan Laidoner, com-mander-in-chief of the Estonian Army, which he organised and led lo victory in the War of Independence against the Bolsheviks, said, in a broadcast: " Estonia has done everything to keep out of the conflict, but if she is attacked she will defend herself as valiantly and as unitedly aa she did 20 years ago.”
