LEAGUE TOURING TEAM ONLY TWO MATCHES PLAYED (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Wednesday The New Zealand Rugby League Council has received advice that the English tour was abandoned after playing two matches, both of which the New Zealanders won. They are on their way back, but it is not known if they are travelling as one party or not. If they arrive early enough it is proposed they meet an Auckland representative side at Auckland.
