NEAR THE SIEGFRIED LINE TRANSFER OF GERMAN TROOPS ARRIVAL FROM POLAND (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Sept. 27, 3.15 p.m.) PARIS, Sept. 26 It is officially stated that the French for the first time made contact with the principal field pillboxes and trenches around Hornbach, where the frontier most closely approaches the Siegfried Line.
A radio announces that a large part of the German armies which participated in the Polish campaign have been transferred to the West Front, concentrating at Aachen and in the Black Forest.
The Council of Ministers dissolved the Communist Party and all affiliations.
