MORE PIG MEAT
ADVISORY COMMITTEE PLANS FOR WAR EMERGENCY - Plans for the encouragement of increased pig meat production because of the war are being considered by the Government, and an advisory committee has been set up to advise the industry on the best methods by which farmers can increase their output. Although no definite announcement has been made, it is expected that producers will be asked to concentrate on the production of bacon pigs.
