Land Reclamation

Of the £700,000 set aside for land reclamation under the British Government’s plough ing-up policy, £300,000 had been allocated for approved acreage at the middle of July last. The Minister of Agriculture (Sir R. Dorman-Smith) reports strong co-operation between county agricultural advisers, the agricultural scientists, and fertility experts at the Ministry of Agriculture.
