Sunola was holding Tahiti safely at the conclusion of five furlongs In 1.6 2-5, Milanlon and Plueron covering the same distance in 1.7 2-5. Proud Fox and Wynardo were together over five furlongs, the last four taking 53 s. Inver was four lengths In front of Princess Val over seven furlongs In 1.34 2- This pair is to race on the second day at Paeroa. Bachelor King Impreaeoe Full Hand, who did not appear to relish the conditions, covered hair a mile In 545. Rachelor King was more Impressive than High Sea over five rurlongs, which occupied 1.6 3-5. Marie’s Acre and Phllcourt worked over a mile and a-quarter, covering the last mile in 1.55 and the last five rurlongs in 1.9 2-ss. Marie’s Acre pleased most. Tellsome ran five rurlongs easily in 1.9 3- while Hunter’s Rose decisively defeated inquisitor over the same ground In 1.9 4-ss. First Gold Money was responsible for the best effort over half a mile, completing the distance In 51 4-ss. Maxam strode over the last three furlongs of her work In 395. Mazir pulled up well arter going seven rurlongs In 1.36 2-5. He was assisted over the first five furlongs by Tiptoes, the first four taking 545.
