FOOTBALLERS INJURED

TWO TAKEN TO HOSPITAL While playing in the Stag Trophy final between Old Boys and City at Rugby Park, Hamilton, on Saturday, Trevor Bremer, aged 20, of Tamahere, received concussion and was taken to the Waikato Hospital in a St. John ambulance. He was discharged yesterday. In the same match, Ronald Finlay, aged 20, received a fractured collarbone. As a result of the injury he will not be available for the Hamilton team to play Matamata next Saturday. Another footballer, Tasker Haywood, aged 21, of Horotiu, also received concussion and was admitted to the Waikato Hospital on Saturday. He was discharged yesterday.
