Footballers’ Appreciation
The appreciation of the Hamilton Primary Schools Rugby Union for the grant of £3 from the Borough Council in connection with the recent Roller Mills Shield competition was expressed in a letter received at a meeting of the council last night. The letter was received. Country Enlistments The Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, slated yesterday that it was not necessary for men desirous of enlisting for the special force to undertake long journeys. They sh<ju!«l forward their application forms by post or hand them in person to the nearest recruiting office, and then await orders to attend for medical examination.”
