FORMER WAR PRISONER (By TPleeraph.—Press Association* WELLINGTON, Wednesday Stated by counsel to have been a member of the crew of a steamer torpedoed off the coast of Spain and to
have been a prisoner of war several months before his arrival in New Zealand, Vassilios Tripanagnoslopoulos, a Greek, pleaded guilty today to a charge, of entering New Zealand at New Plymouth oil May 20 without a permit. A remand was made for a month, an indication being given by counsel that further efforts would be made to obtain a permit lo remain.
