WAR FINANCE MEASURES SOCIAL SECURITY AMENDMENT AGREEMENT WITH DOCTORS . (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Wednesday After a meeting of Cabinet today the actlng-Prlme Minister, the Hon. P. Fraser, said the Government was not yet ready to Introduce Its war finance legislation, and there was a possibility that this might not appear until next week. It is learned that the House will have plenty to occupy its attention until the major legislation appears. Amendments to the Social Security Act have still to be passed. These will rectify a number of anomalies in accordance with promises already made by the Government, and will include a clause carrying out the agreement'made between the Government and the British Medical Association in respect to the maternity benefit.
