OIL IN PYRENEES
FRENCH CONFIDENCE (Times Air Mail Service) LONDON, August 30 All the technical resources at France’s command have been turned over to the Ministry of Public Works for development of an oil pocket in the Pyrenees, states the Paris correspondent of the Evening Standard. Every expert who has examined the situation claims that oil is there, despite the absence of visual signs. M. Anatole de Monzie, after examining the site, stated: “All technical conditions have been fulfilled and there would have to be a ‘negative miracle’ if we fail to find oiL”
