MORNING TEA PARTY
LYCEUM CLUB COMMITTEE Mrs E. C. Sare was the guest-of-honour yesterday morning, when the committee of the Lyceum Club met at morning tea in the lounge, to bid her farewell, prior to her departure to Wellington. In making the presentation of a crystal powder bowl and posy bowl to Mrs Bare, who has held the office of treasurer to the club, Mrs Hugh Douglas, the president, expressed the regret felt jy all at the loss of so popular a member. •Mrs Bare, who was wearing a smart grey tailored suit and a matching hat, was also the recipient of a charming bouquet, presented to her by- Mrs A. E. Sandford. , Those present were:— Mesdames H. Douglas, E. P. Cowles, T. Platt, 11. T. Gillies. 11. J. McMullin, T. G. Reynolds, A. Ramsay, A. E. Sandford, T. A. Burtenshaw. T. Simpson, P. G. Darkness, J. F. Vercoe, D. Robertson. Misses G. Wyatt and M. Bell. Apologies were received from Mesdames G. L. Mac Diarmid, T. Parker, St. L. 11. Grlbben, N. H. Hooke?.
