PRE-WEDDING PARTY
In honour of Miss N'orma Garland, who is shortly to be married, Miss Gwen Brunskill hostessed a delightful bathroom gift afternoon on Saturdav. The party was held at the home of Mrs J. W. Garland, of Cambridge. The guests played flag bridge, the prizewinners being Miss Jean Ferguson, Miss Joyce Lewis and Miss Bertha Peake. The ioungc was decorated with daffodils and Iceland poppies and the guest-of-honour was wearing a floral frock in blue and clover shades with a toning felt hat. The guests included:—Mesdames J. \Y. Garland, Li, W. Garland, Seymour Brunskill, T. Houston and )!. p. -Nelson. Misses Phyllis Garland, Claire Garland, Barbara Taylor, Heather Tavlor, Margaret Cox, May Latimer, Myrtle Holmes, Mary Turney, Hosernary liisliworth, Ailsa Turney, Bertha “Peake, Olwyn Taylor, Mary Craig, Jean Ferguson, Joyce Lewis, Joan Meredith, Marcie Hicks, Lois Arrives, Valerie Catran.
