Copyright) ADELAIDE, Sept 16 Exciting play characterised the New Zealand table tennis team’s first match at a country centre, when Clare unexpectedly beat the Dominion representatives by 314 games to 501, the rubbers (five) and sets (14) being all square. R. A. Algie (Otago, New Zealand champion; won two singles, and E. Boniface (Wellington), K. G. Cantley and 11. F. Boys (both Auckland), one each. Cantley lost one of the other singles and Boniface and Boys one each. The South Australians won the two doubles, the losing partners being Boys and Cantley and Algie and Boniface*
