FIRE IN A ROOF
CHECKED BY WORKMEN As the result of tarred felt catching alight from a plumber’s blow lamp, a fire broke out in the roof of a house under construction in Casey Avenue, Claudelands, this afternoon. The Hamilton Fire Brigade was soon on the scene and as the fire had been checked by the workmen, it was easily extinguished with first aid apparatus.
