YOUNG PEOPLE’S CLUB
The .Tirau Young People's Club held its fortnightly meeting last week in the Women’s Division room. A very enjoyable evening was spent, there being a large number present. The Three Musketeers Band supplied dance extras, and Mr and Mrs Brown supplied music for the dancing. Mr R. Barnett gave a much appreciated
Dr. J. Edwards, young Liverpool doctor, crossed the Irish Sea in a Oft canvas canoe, made buoyant by four large beach footballs lashed to it. The seventy-stole trip took tom hour*.
