EFFECTIVE “ HANGING ”
Cream net curtains are always attractive. To weight them at the bottom, so that they hang better, a hem of coloured Lancaster cloth can be used. It serves this useful purpose as well as being decorative. Lancaster cloth, by the way, does not hinder the curtains being washed in the ordinary way but care should be taken when ironing. This shiny clo-th can be pressed with a hot iron on the wrong side if desired without coming to harm
