Copyrlg-fit) SIMLA, Sept. 15 A communique reveals attempts by tribesmen on the north-west frontier to start a rising in Afghanistan simultaneously with the outbreak of war in Europe were “probably inspired by foreign inlluence.’’ Three border villages were threatened. Afghan troops checked the raiders who withdrew.
