SPELL FOR DEFAULTER
VETERINARY ADVICE CANTER ON SPECIAL TRACK (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. CoDyrlatit) SYDNEY, Sept. 17 The New Zealand champion Defaulter appeared at Randwick yesterday, when he cantered round on a specially watered track. He was afterward examined by a veterinary surgeon, who stated that his leg had made considerable improvement, but it wa« still a long way from being fully recovered. Veterinary advice is that he should be given a spell and certainly not raced for the next two months.
