The news that John Ford is going to direct a picture is always good news to Hollywood’s one-time topflight stars. For the big-hearted Irishman never forgets them and always managed to work a few of them into every picture he makes. When he came to direct the production of “Young Mr Lincoln” he had an unusual opportunity to bring back over a dozen of the old timers. You’ll probably recognize most of them spotted through this 20th CenturyFox picture with Henry Fonda in the title role.
