BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION

NEW NARROWS STRUCTURE GOOD PROGRESS BEING MADE Good progress is being made with Uie construction of the new Narrows Bridge over the Waikato River on the TamaJiere-Rukuhia Road. Reporting to the Waikato County Council to-day, Mr A. A. Woodward, the county engineer, said the arches, Die cross-beams and tbe longitudinal beams on one half of the bridge had been concreted. The timbering of the beams on the other hall' was nearly finished and concreting should commence on that section of the work in about ten days.
