WHITEHALL FUNCTION

ANNIVERSARY DANCE An enjoyable dance was held at Whitehall recently, the occasion being, the third anniversary of the opening of the hall, which had been artistically decorated with red, white and blue streamers. There was a very good attendance. The music was supplied by the Marina dance band, and Mr C. Potts carried out the duties of master of ceremonies. During the evening, Mr J. Jeans made a short speech and called upon Mr lan Brunskill to light the candles on the birthday cake. Mrs C. E. Jeans then blew them out and cut the cake. Novelty dances were won by Miss D. Hubbard and partner.
