A WARNING
PREPARE FOR SIEGE THE FIGHTING IN POLAND FREQUENT AIR RAIDS 'United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright; (Received Sept. 11, 3.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 10 A Budapest correspondent states that a Warsaw radio message has issued a warning that Lwow must prepare for a siege similar to that of Warsaw, after which the Lwow radio called on residents to prepare to resist. A Warsaw message said the Germans are rapidly pushing towards Lwow, to attempt to cut off Poland's communication with Rumania and Hungary. Frequent air raid alarms are audible in 'Lwow’s broadcast, indicating unremitting bombardment. Mothers in both cities have been urged to sew children’s names to clothing. Germans Drop Bank Notes A Warsaw radio warned residents not to pick up wads of bank, notes which German aviators dropped in the streets,” with no further explanation.” The Germans intermittently interfered with both Radios, then broadcast pro-Nazi bulletins on the same wavelengths.
