WRESTLING BOUT
BHU PINDER BEATS BOESCH (Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Sunday Prince >Bhu Pinder beat Paul Boesch, of America, in a professional wrestling match in the Town Hall last night by two submission falls. In the sixth round Boesch resisted and actually broke his opponent’s favourite match-winning hold, the Indian crab. Pinder applied it again almost immediately, however, and won a submission fall. Boesch lay on the mat for the greater part of the interval and then rose and limped to his corner with the assistance of his second. He was massaged, but came out limping at the gong. He made a last effort with dropkicks and was then saved by the ropes from another Indian crab. Pinder next obtained a Boston crab with which he was unable to apply the necessary pressure. With an injured hip Boesch could not evade a further Indian crab, to which he submitted.
