AIR FORCE APPOINTEES

MEN ARRIVING FROM OVERSEAS (By Telegrapn.— Press Association) DUNEDIN, Saturday The Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, states that in a few days 11 men from overseas will begin their appointments with the Air Department. They are Squadron-Leader Keogh, engineer officer, who is due by the Tamaroa on June 15, and is to be posted to Air Headquarters and later to take charge of a technical training flight; Lieutenant Galder arriving on the same date, to be Chief Flying Instructor at Wigram; and the following eight technical instructors in the civil reserve: —Sergeants Baldwin, and Torry; Corporals Hughes, Norman, Hiom, Todd; Aircraftsmen de Wild and Coulson. A civil appointee also on the Tamaroa is Mr A. G. Hill, who will survey the operating methods of the flying personnel.
