THE HAMILTON CLUB DOUGLAS GUP RESULTS The members of the Hamilton Ladies’ Golf Club played the first round of the Douglas Cup this week with the following results: — Miss E. Wright won from Mrs €. Bennett, 1 up; Mrs Bell won from Mrs Cole, 6 and 5; Mrs Worley won from Mrs Dent, 5 and 4; Mrs Jewell won from Mrs Fraser, 2 up; -Mrs Edwards won from Mrs G. Smith, 1 up; Miss Cann won from Mrs Sole, 1 up; Mrs Qualtrough won from Miss Littleproud, 4 and 3; Mrs Day won from Mrs Sutton, 6 and 5; Mrs ‘U’Connor won from Mrs Hailett, 6 and 5; Mrs McDonald won from Mrs F. Taylor, 2 and 1; Mrs Gower won from Mrs Joy, 3 and 1; Mrs S. Bennett won from Mrs Ilockin, 6 and 5; Mrs Booth won from Mrs Edmonds, 3 and 1; Mrs Blackett won from Miss Eyre, 1 up; Miss Bruce won from Mrs Mander by default; Mrs Waring won from Mrs Arthur, 6 and 5. Draw for Wednesday The second round of the Douglas Cup and the consolation match will be piayed on Wednesday as follows: 10 a.m.—-Yljss E. Wright v. Mrs Bell; Mrs Worley v. Mrs Jewell; Mrs Edwards v.
