Mr Noel Smith, Noxious Weeds Inspector of the Otorohanga County, has accepted a similar position in the Whakatane County. He was chosen from IGO applicants for the positionMr S. S. Saulbrey, of Ngaruawahia, has returned from Australia, where he gained the awards for the best setter brace of all breeds with his dogs at the Sydney Royal Show. Constable A. Christiansen, of Raglan. has been transferred to the arms office at the Hamilton Police station. Constable A. J. Jackson, of Te Puke, will take his place at Raglan, and Constable C. M. Roberts, of Rotorua, has been promoted to the charge of the Te Puke station. Mr A. Bell, supervising estates clerk at the head office of the Public Trust, has been appointed District Public Trustee at Timaru in succession to the late Mr F. E. Duncan. Mr D. Campbell, senior estates clerk at Auckland, has been appointed supervising estates clerk at the head office, and Mr F. R. Mac ken, senior estates clerk in Wellington, has been appointed supervising estates clerk at head office.
