CREAM CHANGE OVER
SUPPLIES FROM RAGLAN MANUFACTURE AT FRANKTON As a result of the decision of the shareholders of the Raglan Dairy Company to accept the offer of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, to take over the assets of the company at Raglan, cream usually manufactured into butter in the Raglan factory is now beinp conveyed to the Frankton factory of the big company. The Raglan factory has now been closed. The Raglan company was one of the pioneer companies of the Dominion, for butter manufacture has been carried on in its factory without a break for 36 years. Two lorries have been engaged this week in conveying supplies to Frankton from Raglan, Aotea. Mokamoka, Te Hutewai, Keuroa and Te Uku. As the dairying season is now practically closed, the supplies have been very light.
