TRANS=TASMAN CROSSING
FLIGHT IN ENGLAND DOMINION THIS MONTH (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, May 31 The trans-Tasman flying boat Aotearoa takes off on her maiden passenger flight from Southampton this afternoon. She will take 15 press and other representatives of Australia and New Zealand on a tour of the south coast, piloted by Captain J. \V. Bulges®, of New Zealand. Imperial Airways state that the Aotearoa will go to New Zealand at the end of June. INDIAN OCEAN SURVEY PREPARATIONS WEU^ADVANCEL FLIGHT OF FLYING-BOAT (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright; SYDNEY, June 1 Preparations for the Indian Ocean survey flight in the flying-boat Guba owned by Dr. Richard Archbold are well advanced. The crew, including Dr. Archbold and the chief pilot. Captain P. G. Taylor, were guests at Canberra tonight vf the Minister of Civil Aviation, Mr J. V. Fairbura. The Cuba takes off from Mascot aerodrome on her long flight on Saturday at 4 p.in.
