STRAIN OF THE TRIP FIRST STAGE COMPLETED ENTRY INTO AMERICA (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) VANCOUVER, June i The first stage of their tour completed, Their Majesties will return across Canada by a more northerly route, making 19 halts before entering the United States at Niagara Falls on the night of June 7. During their westward journey, the King and Queen made inauy appearances on the rear platform of the train, but the Government has announced that the heavy programme has imposed such a strain upon them that they will make no unscheduled appearances on the return trip before 10 a.m. or after dark. The Government has also requested communities at stations not included in the official itinerary not to organise large-scale demonstrations. Their Majesties will arrive at Jasper to-morrow, and will spend 22 hours resting. Itinerary of the Tour The itinerary for the remainder of Their MajesLies’ tour is as follows: June 2.—Edmonton; June 3, Saskatoon and Melville; June 4, Sioux Lookout; June 5, Sudbury; June 6, Guelph, Kitchener, Stratford and Windsor; June 7, London, Jngersoll, Woodstock, Brantford, Hamilton; St. Catherine’s to Niagara Falls by car; June 8, arrive Washington 11 a.m., reception at White House, sightseeing tour, garden party at British Embassy, State dinner at White House; June 9, reception to British residents at 10 a.m., and to members of Congress at the Capitol at 11 a.m., thence to AlounL Vernon on board the Presidential yacht, hosts to Mr arid Mrs Roosevelt at dinner at the British Embassy, leave by train for New York at 11.30 p.m.; June 10, board destroyer at New Jersey and visit World's Fair, later travel by car to Mr Roosevelt’s estate at Hyde Park; June 11, at Hyde Park, departing at night for Canada; June 12, visit Delson, Sherbrooke, Levis and Reviere du Loup; June 13, Newcastle, Fredericton, Fairville and by car to St. John, New Brunswick; June 14, by train to Cape Tormentine, Charlottletown and by destroyer to Pictou and New Glasgow; June 15, Halifax and sail for England, 7 p.m.
