IN THE AUCKLAND DIBTRICT MINISTER DENIES HOLD-UP (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday “There has been no hold-up of building,” stated the Minister of Education, the Hon. P. Fraser, In referring to the recently published report that 32 educational building proposals in the Auckland district were in suspense. The Minister added that the Hamilton East School had been authorised and one of the largest works in the Auckland list, the rebuilding of the Mount Albert Primary School, was approved. There had been no question of a general hold up, the list quoted being one showing the various proposals in their order of urgency.
