Mr C. P. Butler, secretary of the ' Whangarei Agricultural and Pastoral | Association, is in Hamilton. Mr Garnet Carroll, theatrical manager. is in Hamilton with the “Hollywood Hotel ” revue company. Mr Mervyn Wells has been elected chairman of the Cambridge Electric Power Board for the twentieth consecutive year. He has held office since the formation of the board. Messrs F. J. White, R. H. White New Plymouth , C. W. Bell, F. J. Howie Whangarei , H. E. Hyde, H. Ronaldson Auckland). L. Sullivan and W. Taylor Wellington are at the Hamilton Hotel. Messrs W. Barber (Palmerston North), J. H. Allan Hatuma;, and A. B. Marten (Te Puke) were elected life i members of llio New Zealand Milkine Shorthorn Association at the annual nieeting held in Hamilton last even- 1 ing. Messrs W. J. Slack (Bunnethorpe'. •L 11. S. Allan (liatuina), J. Bateman,! C. T. Grant Invercargill), G. Jones,' C. Munnings. W. N. Barnett Christ- ; church/, J. Ward (Ganvastown. Marlborough,, and W. J. Thomas (Carter- j ton were among the visitors to Hamilton yesterday for the annual meeting of the New Zealand Milking Shorthorn Association.
