It is that a family with three or four children of school age will be granted a house free of rent; with pasture for grazing one or two cows, provided the children arc sent to the school. The school has suffered dosses from the roll lately, and because of this there has been a threat- to take the teacher to a more populous area. But the residents like the teacher and do not. want to lose the school, so it has been arranged for a house to be made available to parents with a number of children of school age.
