RENEWALS GRANTED LICENSING COMMITTEE MEETS Of the five applications for renewals of publican's licenses which came before the Hamilton Licensing Committee yesterday, three were granted, while adjournments until June 29 were made in the other cases. The license for the Waikato Hotel was renewed In favour of William George Rundle (Mr J. F. Strang). The application for a renewal of the license for the Iloval Hotel was granted to Patrick James O’Neill (Mr N. S. Johnson), and Cyril Lansdowne Nicholls (Mr Strang) was granted a renewal of the license for the Frankton Hotel. No objections were raised by the police to the renewal of these licenses. An adjournment until June 29 was made In the application ef Leslie Earl Haines (Mr Johnson) for the renewal of the Commercial Hotel license so that an opportunity could be afforded for the premises to comply with the Licensing Act regarding accommodation. Mr Johnson said accommodation would be available at the hotel within a fortnight. Mr Paterson remarked that if accommodation was not available on

June 29, the license would lapse. The application of the Hamilton Hotel was adjourned also.
