ROAD SAFETY APPEAL (Bv Telegranh.—Pros'! Association) WELLINGTON, Friday Mentioning that 100 persons were injured and five killed during the King's Birthday week-end last year, the Minister of Transport, the Hon. R. Semple, issued a warning and appeals for road safety this week-end. lie said that indications were that the weather would he good, and consequently motorists would he making the most of the long week-end.
