£4,500,000 STATE LOAN SUCCESSFUL FLOTATION (By Telegraph.—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday The loan of £4,500,000 floated by the Government has been fully subscribed. An announcement of the success of the flotation was made this evening by the Prime Minister, the Ri. Hon. M. J. Savage. Mr Savage received a brief message from the governor of the Reserve Bank to the effect that the full subscription had been made. The Prime Minister was unable to give full details of the reception of the luan by investors, because, he explained, tile issue had closed oniy this day an hour or so ago. “It might be a day or two before the details are available," said Mr ravage, “and a further statement wiff be made then.”
