THE TALK OF THE SHOW •* No grunts but clever stunts ” would be a suitable slogan for the Pig-a-dilly Circus,. which is located in the amusement section at the Waikato Winter Show, for in the tent ■where this attraction is housed, a troupe of performing pigs keeps their audience in astonishment and wonderment. Two of the troupe are boxing enthusiasts and what they do not know of boxing is not worth knowing—in fact Jack Dempsey could learn a thing or two from these two enthusiasts whose “ upper-cuts ” are without doubt a “ knock-out.” Another member of the troupe is an expert with a gun and when this chap is told to fire he records a bullseye every shot; ahd then there's ** Freckles,” the pig with the personality. He is a pig of proud proportions and his exclusive features make him a pig of peculiarity and the envy ol every pig-breeder and farmer alike.

We will not tell you here of the many tricks performed by these pigs as space does not permit;; suffice to say that the exhibition is clean, wholesome and educational, and is one which on no account should be missed. A final five words: “ See them at the Show.** 31
