COLLAPSE OF STAND INCIDENT AT BOXING MATCH SEVERAL PERSONS INJURED (By Telpcraph.— Press Association! INVERCARGILL, Tuesday During a boxing match in the Civic Theatre to-night a wooden stand seating about 200 people collapsed, and its occupants were thrown on to the floor. No one was seriously hurt, but the following were ad'iiitted to hospital:—Raymond Grenfell, 14,., injuries to ribs, condition satisfactory; Mrs L. Thwaites, abrasions on body, condition not serious; Mr John Thompson, fractured jaw; and Mr Harold Black, injury to foot.
