FIJIAN RUGBY TEAM G OVERNMENT’S C ONDITIONS (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, "Wednesday The tour of New Zealand by a Fijian Rugby team this year, which has been contemplated, will not eventuate. The executive of the New Zealand Rugby Union to-night received advice from the Fijian Rugby Union that because of Government conditions, the tour would have to be abandoned. The Fijian union advised that the Government of Fiji had stipulated that a Fijian team, if it visited the Dominion, would only be allowed to remain in the country 'for a fortnight and it was desired that it should play matches preferably against Maori teams. These conditions were not considered acceptable by the New Zealand union an dthe tour was declared
