DOCTORS STOP BOUT
CROWD SHOWB DISAPPROVAL (By Telegraph.—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday A professional boxing match tonight between Norman Fisher (Christchurch) and Ken Wright (Timaru), each lOst. ilb., lasted for only three rounds. A cut over Wright’s right eye caused the doctors to stop the bout. Fisher had been ahead on points to that stage, In a fast and bright exhibition. The sudden ending was not popular with a section of the crowd, who shouted its disapproval of the shortness of the prrrxramme.
