OBITUARY
MRB T. J. ALLEN The death has occurred In Te Awamutu of Mrs Mary Lily Allen, wife of Mr Thomas John Allen, of Kihikihi. Tlie late Mrs Allen was born at Parnell GG years ago and was the eldest daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Edward Hodgson. She was married at Pahiat.ua and later went with her husband to reside at Kihikihi. About 20 years ago they moved to Hamilton and after two years returned to Kihikihi. Mrs Allen was a member of the Kihikihi branch of tlie League of Mothers and the Kihikihi Women’s Institute. MR E. 8. QITTOB (Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Thursday The death has occurred of Mr Eric Sydney Gittos. of Muriwai, a cousin of Mr J. H. Gittos, of Hamilton, aged 07 years. Mr Gittos was the youngest son of the late Rev. W. Gittos, a well-known Wesleyan Maori missionary, who came to New Zealand in 1841. He was prominent in yachting circles in Auckland and was a keen Rugby footballer. He is survived by his wife aud two daughters.
